systemctl daemon-reexec

Category: Administration

systemctl daemon-reexec

Restart the systemd manager process

Re-executes systemd itself, reloading the manager binary and its configuration while keeping all units and their state intact. A unit is systemd's definition of a service, socket, timer, or other managed object. Use this after upgrading systemd or editing manager-level settings in daemon.conf. Your services are not restarted.
