This detaches the CIFS or NFS mount at /mnt/share after flushing pending writes, so it is the safe counterpart to the mount commands. It fails with a busy error if a process still holds files there, and lazy umount -l defers the teardown instead. Update /etc/fstab first if the mount should not return on reboot.
