Applies sshd_config changes by restarting the ssh service (Ubuntu's unit name is ssh; Debian uses sshd — either works via alias). Only restart after sudo sshd -t passes, because a bad config can kill the daemon and lock you out. Do not close your current session until a fresh login succeeds.
