Goose is an open-source, extensible AI coding agent by Block (formerly Square). It supports multiple LLM backends (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Ollama) and has a rich plugin system called 'toolkits'. MCP-compatible and runs entirely locally if paired with Ollama.
