Show overall NetworkManager state and connectivity
nmcli is the command-line front end for NetworkManager, the default network service on many Linux desktops and servers. The general status output reports whether networking is enabled, which device manages the connection, and the current connectivity state. Pair it with nmcli device status for a per-interface breakdown.
