The classic notebook interface runs through the same server as JupyterLab but shows the older notebook-only UI. The notebook subcommand requires the separate notebook package, so installing jupyterlab alone is not enough. The --no-browser flag is useful on servers where no local browser exists. Choose this when you prefer the simpler single-document workflow.
