journalctl --vacuum-time=30d

Delete journal entries older than 30 days

Removes journal files whose contents are all older than 30 days, freeing space while keeping recent history. The oldest files go first, so recent logs are never touched. Combine it with --vacuum-size if you also want a hard size cap.
