Returns the entire current state of the account: joined rooms, recent events, and notifications, long-polling up to 30000 milliseconds for new activity. This is the heaviest endpoint, so clients call it once at startup then incrementally. For reading a single room's history, the messages endpoint is cheaper. Admin API alternatives work without the account's state.
